Jenn-Air Introduces Six-Burner Gas Cooktop

Jenn-Air is introducing its first six-burner, 36″ gas cooktop, a new 30″ model and several updated cooktops to its growing collection of high-end appliances.
Adding to the brand’s growing list of “best in class” offerings, the newest gas model is billed as the industry’s most powerful 36″ six-burner gas cooktop. It features an 18,000 BTU PowerBurner, three 15,000 BTU burners, a 9,000 BTU burner and 6,000 BTU simmer burner, all sealed and constructed of high quality brass.
At a height of only 3 mm, the cooktop’s low profile and near-flush design creates a sleek, built-in appearance. It will be available this fall in an elegant Euro-Style stainless design with barrel knobs, and a bolder Pro-Style® stainless model with heavier grates and diamond etched knobs inspired by commercial equipment. Five-burner, 30″ versions of the new cooktop are being introduced as well. All models are crafted using superior stainless and die-cast materials, minimal welding and hand polishing for a highly refined fit, feel and finish.
“For those looking for the greatest possible flexibility in a cooktop, or who like to cook and entertain on a larger scale, there’s nothing like having six burners to work with,” says Juliet Johnson, Manager of Brand Experience for Jenn-Air. “But whether choosing a five- or six-burner cooktop, or opting for gas, electric or induction cooking, anyone creating a luxury kitchen can look to Jenn-Air for high performance, extraordinary precision and, from a design standpoint, great attention to detail.”
Other updated cooktop offerings from Jenn-Air include electric and gas downdraft cooktops with newly-designed knobs and a gas downdraft model with an advanced, invisible Durafinish™ coating designed to resist staining and yellowing and extend the cooktop’s like-new appearance.
