7W New York Executive Named President of ARTE ITALICA

ARTE ITALICA, a premier luxury and lifestyle brand, has announced the appointment of Chris Collins to the position of President. Collins has 30 years industry experience and has most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of 7W New York, where he launched and managed the industry trade mart in midtown Manhattan for over eight years. Prior to that, Collins held senior executive positions with industry leading companies including Colonial Candle of Cape Cod, Figi and more than 16 years as the Senior Sales and Marketing Executive with Russ Berrie & Company. Collins has also been an executive consultant with several other leading industry brands and organizations.

In his role as President of ARTE ITALICA, Collins will be responsible for all business activity within the organization. “I could not be more excited to be back on the wholesale and product side of this industry and to be with such a well respected luxury brand as ARTE ITALICA. I am extremely impressed with this organization and the work that Ann and Earl Skidmore have put in over the past 16 years to build this company and this prestigious brand. I look forward to doing my part in bringing the company to new levels of success by building stronger relationships with our customer base as well as further strengthening the brand within the luxury marketplace,” Collins said.

ARTE ITALICA will be unveiling several new collections along with exciting show specials during this summer show season. ARTE ITALICA will be featured in the CMA showroom (Building 1, Suite 9B7) for the Atlanta Market, debuting its first-ever holiday line, Natale, as well as several new everyday collections. In New York, ARTE ITALICA will be presenting all best-selling collections along with all new introductions in a new location at the Jacob Javits Center. ARTE ITALICA will be located at Booth 3228 and will be offering several New York exclusive show specials and product opportunities.

Collins will be transitioning into his new role at ARTE ITALICA in the upcoming months until then he will be completing his current responsibilities with 7 West.
