Garfield & Gooseberry Patch: It’s a Match Made in Food Heaven!

Is there any cat who enjoys comfort food more than Garfield? Creator Jim Davis has teamed up with homestyle cookbook experts, Gooseberry Patch to create the first Garfield cookbook in more than a decade…coming to kitchens June 2013!
imageFilled with lasagna (of course!) and hundreds more recipes that stick to your ribs, Garfield…Recipes with Cattitude! will be a treat for fans of both brands. They’ll love the lighthearted artwork, in Garfield’s signature style, and the simple recipes, inspired by all the foods Garfield would love.
“Sunday mornings, my kids and I couldn’t wait to read to see what Garfield was up to this week in the comics. He’s been a part of our lives ever since! We had so much fun working with Jim and the whole Garfield team on this project!” says Jo Ann Martin, co-founder of Gooseberry Patch, an independent cookbook publisher located in Ohio’s heartland.
“Garfield…Recipes with Cattitude! is packed with all the recipes Garfield would love, from doughnuts for breakfast all the way to an extra piece of cake for dessert,” says Vickie Hutchins, cofounder of Gooseberry Patch.”Each recipe is paired with a funny Garfield illustration…his ‘cattitude’ really adds something special to this collection!”
The selection of over 230 recipes goes way beyond just lasagna. Breakfast Burritos, Crispy Home Fries and Brown Sugar-Glazed Bacon are worth getting up for, even on a Monday. At lunchtime, try Potato, Ham & Cheddar Soup and Devilishly Good Burgers, while dinnertime is an event that calls for two chapters…Pizza, Pasta & More and It’s Dinnertime, Now! For collectors, fans and cooks of all ages, Garfield…Recipes with Cattitude! is a must-have.
