The De’Longhi Group, the award-winning leader in small home appliances, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Foster as Vice President, U.S. Sales. Mr. Foster brings a breadth of experience across a wide range of consumer products and retail channels. He will lead the continued growth of De’Longhi in the U.S. by building channel-appropriate retailer plans and further enhancing the valuable equity created by the brands of The De’Longhi Group.
Before joining De’Longhi, Foster served as Vice President, North America Sales for Philips Consumer Lifestyle small appliances where he helped lead significant share growth across a variety of the company’s businesses. Prior to Philips, Foster served in key executive leadership roles with Harman International including General Manager, The Americas and SVP, Global Sales. This followed a variety of progressing roles at General Electric/NBC Universal including General Manager, Consumer Products Worldwide and SVP, Sales in the Home Entertainment Division. At GE/NBC Universal, Foster played a key leadership role in helping to transform the prior business model to one which stressed the importance of working more collaboratively and strategically with Universal’s large retail network. Foster built the foundation of his career over a 15-year period with the Gillette Company progressing through a series of expanding regional and national sales management roles.
